How much does it cost to rent a podcast studio in San Francisco?+
Self-serve rooms in the city run $40 to $150 per hour with no engineer. Full-service studios with an engineer and multi-camera 4K run $300 to $500 per hour. BayHaus is $450 per hour with a 1-hour minimum, engineer included, files delivered the same day.
Do I need any technical experience?+
None. A dedicated engineer handles cameras, audio, and lighting on every session. You are here to talk, not to run equipment.
When do I get my files?+
The same day. Raw 4K and separated audio tracks go onto your drive before you leave the studio.
What is included in every session?+
A dedicated engineer, broadcast cameras live-switched in 4K, broadcast microphones, a pre-lit set, and your raw footage with separated audio tracks. Every booking, no add-ons required.
What equipment does the studio use?+
Sony A7IV and Sony FX30 cameras, RØDECaster Video switching, Shure broadcast microphones with an audio mixer, a professional teleprompter, a broadcast clock and stopwatch, and an iMac 2026 edit bay in the broadcast room.
How many people can I record with?+
The podcast area seats a host and up to two guests on camera. For panels or larger formats, ask about Full Production.
Can I record a course and a podcast on the same day?+
Yes. Book the whole studio for the day from $1,200 and leave with both projects the same day.
Can I livestream from the studio?+
Yes. Both recording areas are livestream-ready, and the broadcast room lets your engineer live-switch cameras straight to your platform.
What is included in the membership?+
Four studio hours a month with an engineer, member rates on extra hours and editing, and a CENTRL Office coworking membership in the same building: kitchen, coffee bar, lounges, courtyard, and meeting rooms at member rates.
