How pricing works

How the studio cost calculator works.

Studio time is one flat rate: $450 per hour for either studio in San Francisco, with a 1-hour minimum. That hour covers a dedicated engineer, three broadcast cameras live-switched in 4K, Shure microphones, a pre-lit set, and raw 4K plus separated audio on your drive the same day. The line-by-line breakdown lives on what is included in a podcast studio session.

Editing is where you choose how finished you want to leave. Podcast Editing is $595 per episode and returns a ready-to-publish episode with a 1-minute video intro, 3 short social clips, and color plus audio cleanup. Course Editing is $295 per hour and covers the edited course, monitor screen recording, and motion graphics. For market context on what editors charge across the city, read our podcast editing cost guide.

Recording four or more hours? Book the whole studio from $1,200 and use both sets in one visit. That day rate is the math behind Creator Day, where teams batch a quarter of episodes and course lessons at once. The complete rate card, including membership and Full Production, sits on the studio pricing page.
